Who is the PTA?
Who is the PTA?
The NPE PTA is comprised of moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers who give their time and talents to make NPE a better school. You do not have to be a member of the PTA to volunteer at NPE, but you do need to be a member to attend PTA meetings and vote on PTA issues. Funds from all PTA memberships go towards paying our state and national dues. For general questions you can email newprovidencepta@gmail.com.
Through your generous donations to the PTA this year, we were able to make several purchases over the summer in preparation for the new school year. Social Studies Weekly and Scholastic News subscriptions were purchased for requested grades, wall plaques for our new classrooms were added and we are working on creating new areas for outdoor seating.
During the first week of school, the PTA provided a yummy breakfast for staff. We purchased a Yard-Gram welcoming students back to school and handed out a small parting gift for parents of kindergarten students in place of our annual Boohoo Yahoo breakfast. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of our students, PTA was able to continue the tradition of giving new teachers (and those with new grade placements) their annual allocation to purchase needed supplies and materials for the classroom. Stay tuned for more information regarding fundraising opportunities so we can continue to provide for our NPE LION families!

Students, parents and personnel have a lot of lion pride and a high level of commitment to each other as well as to the community. As we continue to grow our student body, we’d appreciate your support, as a business partner, to help us continue to enhance our educational opportunities and the community activities that make our school beam with lion pride. We have several ways you can show your support of NPE.
Complete the PTA Sponsor Form and send payment to your child's homeroom teacher.
